This is stupid, the qb pos is so protected. If you don't trust your 1 and 2 qb to stay healthy roster a 3rd. It's the most important pos, deactivate your 7th or 8th LB or someone else.

I must be misunderstanding. Unless the 3rd qb can be on the practice squad, this would force a team to keep 3 qbs on the 53 man roster if they wanted to possibly play them. Most teams only have 2 quarterbacks on the 53 man roster with the 3rd qb on the practice squad.
